1999 Canada Millenium Souvenir Set

This 12-coin set of 25-cent coins, displayed in a gold plastic oval case, was minted to commemorate the year 1999. The coins are all nickel featuring a unique design for each of the 12 coins. A competition was held where contestants were asked to submit designs for each month of the year from 1999 and 2000. The 1999 set was meant to reflect on Canada's past.
