2015 Canada Limited Edition Proof Pure Silver Dollar Coin -  100th Anniversary of In Flanders Fields

The reverse design by Canadian artist Tony Bianco uses the richly coloured poppy in the background to add vibrancy to this meticulously engraved scene of remembrance that was inspired by the poem In Flanders Fields by John McCrae, as two soldiers stand on either side of a makeshift grave to mourn a fellow soldier. The obverse features the effigy of King George V by Sir E. B. MacKennal.
